Rebel Audio, the AI-powered podcast production platform, opened its public beta this week after a period of invitation-only access, according to a report in Variety dated 2026.

The startup counts Mark Burnett — the producer whose credits include The Apprentice, Survivor, and The Voice — as an adviser, a detail the company has leaned on in its positioning.

The platform is designed to automate the production workflow that would otherwise require a sound engineer, an editor, and some number of billable hours: mixing, cleanup, and assembly handled by the model rather than the person.

Rebel Audio is entering a market that already includes Descript, Adobe Podcast, and a growing list of tools competing for the same podcaster who has a USB microphone and no post-production budget.

The public beta carries no announced pricing. What the platform does carry is an adviser whose most famous television creation gave a catchphrase to the act of telling someone their services are no longer required.
