Gayle King, co-host of CBS Mornings, used a live celebrity interview this week to place herself squarely in the Tom Brady conversation — on air, in front of guests, with the cameras running.
The comment came during a sit-down with Jennifer Lopez and Ted Lasso actor Brett Goldstein. King, 70, reportedly indicated she was open to a Brady romance, a statement that landed with enough clarity that it has since migrated from the entertainment segment to Page Six.
Brady, 47, has been publicly unattached since his divorce from Gisele Bündchen was finalized in late 2022. He was linked to model Irina Shayk in 2023; that relationship did not continue into 2024.
King is also single, having separated from former husband William Bumpus in 1993. She has discussed her dating life in interviews on the same program where she made Wednesday's remark.
The interview was nominally about Lopez and Goldstein's joint project. Lopez, who finalized her own divorce from Ben Affleck in January 2025, did not appear to redirect the subject.
