Zahara Marley Jolie, 24, has filed a legal petition to formally drop the Pitt surname, Page Six reported on May 29, according to court records reviewed by the outlet.
Zahara had already been going by Jolie informally since at least February 2026, but the filing converts that informal preference into a legal change.
The move follows a near-identical filing by her younger sister Shiloh, who petitioned to remove Pitt from her name shortly after turning 18 in 2024 — a timeline that made the filing itself a news event.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie separated in September 2016. Divorce proceedings, complicated by a dispute over their French vineyard Château Miraval, have continued across multiple jurisdictions and remained unresolved as of publication.
Of the couple's six children, two have now filed legal name-change petitions. The other four have not, at least on the public record.
