Blake Lively's legal team has submitted a fee application totaling $8,035,040.88 against Justin Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios, according to a filing reported by Deadline on June 24, 2026.

The application describes the opposing side's conduct as “scorched-earth litigation tactics designed to drain Lively's resources” — language that will now sit in the court record alongside the eight-figure sum it produced.

The civil dispute between Lively and Baldoni, her co-star and director on the 2024 film adaptation of It Ends with Us, became public in late 2024 when Lively filed a complaint alleging sexual harassment and a coordinated smear campaign. Baldoni has denied the allegations and filed counterclaims.

The $8,035,040.88 figure covers Lively's attorneys' fees through the current stage of proceedings. Whether the court awards any portion of that amount remains a separate question from the underlying claims.

The irony, noted nowhere in the filing itself: the document submitted to prove the cost of the litigation runs to a number precise enough to include eighty-eight cents.
