Clay Travis is leaving OutKick, the sports and culture site he founded in 2011, as Fox News Digital formally absorbs the property roughly five years after Fox Corp. completed its acquisition, according to a Deadline report published in June 2026.
OutKick built a sizable audience by pairing sports coverage with a right-leaning cultural commentary posture — a combination that made Travis a regular presence on Fox News programming and drew the acquisition interest in the first place.
The Deadline report does not list a severance figure, a final air date, or a competing offer. Travis had not publicly named a next destination as of the report's filing.
Fox News Digital gains the OutKick brand, the archive, and the audience. Travis, for his part, gains an exit from the property that made him sufficiently valuable to Fox Corp. to acquire — and then, apparently, sufficiently redundant to part with once the deal was fully digested.
