Loomer has maintained close ties to Donald Trump, whose administration has pressured both sides toward a negotiated settlement while periodically threatening to withdraw support from Kyiv entirely. Her previous public record on Ukraine — catalogued extensively across her social media platforms over several years — had included consistent skepticism of aid packages, characterizations of Zelensky as an unreliable partner, and arguments that American resources were being misallocated abroad.
