Sean Combs, 56, has been placed in solitary confinement at Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix in Burlington County, New Jersey, after a physical altercation with a fellow inmate, Page Six reported Thursday.
Combs has been held at the low-security federal facility since October 2025, following his arrest on federal charges that include sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. He has pleaded not guilty to all counts.
FCI Fort Dix, which sits on the grounds of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, houses roughly 3,800 inmates and operates across both low- and minimum-security camps — the largest federal correctional population in the United States by headcount.
Specific circumstances of the altercation, including the identity of the other inmate and the nature of any injuries, were not detailed in the Page Six report. A spokesperson for the Bureau of Prisons had not commented on the record as of publication.
Combs's trial, originally scheduled for May 2025, was postponed and is now set for November 2026 in the Southern District of New York.
His legal team has previously argued in bail hearings that confinement posed risks to his safety.
