Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were married at Madison Square Garden on Friday, with a reported guest list north of 1,000. Ryan Seacrest was not in it — though he had been, at some point, confirmed to be.

Seacrest disclosed the situation himself, acknowledging he had submitted an affirmative RSVP before ultimately not showing up. He did not elaborate on the scheduling conflict, medical emergency, traffic situation, or other intervening event that might account for the gap between the yes and the absence.

Madison Square Garden, located at 4 Pennsylvania Plaza in Midtown Manhattan, has hosted prizefights, playoff games, and a reported 1,000-plus wedding guests without apparent incident. It is not, by most accounts, a venue that is difficult to locate.
