Collin Gosselin, 27, one of the sextuplets from TLC's Jon & Kate Plus 8, is preparing a memoir that lays out what he describes as years of abuse by his mother, Kate Gosselin, according to Page Six reporting published this week.

Among the claims expected to appear in the book: that Kate Gosselin arranged for him to be institutionalized during his childhood. The period and the facility have not been formally identified in public reporting to date.

Collin and Kate Gosselin have not had a publicly documented relationship in several years. His father, Jon Gosselin, has been his primary parental contact since at least 2018, when Collin moved in with Jon following his time away from the family home.

The memoir does not yet have a named publisher, imprint, or release date on record. Kate Gosselin, who has made intermittent media appearances over the past decade and ran unsuccessfully for a Pennsylvania state senate seat in 2022, has not responded publicly to the reported contents.

The Gosselin family generated an estimated 150 episodes across multiple TLC series between 2007 and 2017. The network has not commented.
