Kate Gosselin is reportedly “spiraling” ahead of her estranged son Collin Gosselin’s forthcoming memoir, according to a Page Six report published June 27, 2026.

Collin, 22, is one of the sextuplets from the TLC reality series Jon & Kate Plus 8. He and his mother have not spoken since he was a child, after Kate sent him to a residential facility for children with special needs when he was approximately 10 years old.

Collin has previously made public allegations of abuse against his mother. Kate has denied the allegations.

A source told Page Six it is “about to hit the fan” once the book is released. A second source described Kate as “very stressed.”

No publisher, title, or release date for the memoir has been publicly confirmed. The last time Kate Gosselin appeared on a reality broadcast in a sustained capacity was the 2022 series Kate Plus Date, which ran briefly on TLC.

Collin has maintained a public relationship with his father, Jon Gosselin, since leaving the residential facility. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and completed service. The memoir will be his first book.
