Tom Hardy is no longer attached to MobLand, the Paramount+ organized-crime series he had headlined for two seasons, according to a Page Six report published Thursday.
The circumstances behind the departure are described only as “on-set drama” — a phrase that, in the absence of any further detail from Paramount+, Hardy's representatives, or the production, is doing considerable heavy lifting.
Hardy completed two seasons of the series before the split. Whether those seasons concluded on the streamer's preferred terms or simply ran out ahead of a planned renewal has not been clarified by any party with direct knowledge of the situation.
Paramount+ declined to comment. A representative for Hardy had not responded to requests for comment as of the Page Six filing time.
The show's future — whether it continues without its lead, wraps entirely, or gets recast — has not been addressed in any public statement. The two seasons remain available on the platform.
